I've just left my husband after 6 years of knowing he's had a problem. I found out he was chatting and exchanging emails and photos when I was 4 months pregnant. Honestly I didn't know what to do with that information. I caught him again at 7 months pregnant. it has been awful ever since. he's had no real job for years, which I only feels adds insult to injury. both my convictions and commitment to my child have kept me there. Plus the fact that he was always saying the right things--though my gut always told me differently. After a good session with a counselor I realized that if I was the one doing the things he's been doing I would consider myself devoid of the right to be married. I would have forsaken the priviledge of marriage. Putting it that way helps me with my "convictions" and misplaced commitment to a person who hasn't done anything to help himself. this is all very sad and something should be done about the pervasive chatting issue. You can't just take a "little" heroin or crack. Why isn't anyone talking more about this?
